I'm trying to get the aspect ratio button of my projector to work and the hex code is

0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

PENG changes it to 900A 006D 0000 0001 874E 34CB (like it does with all the other keys) so they're in the database. Problem is that this one key doesn't work. Is there a workaround for such a problem?

Where did you get the long form of the code?

Have you tried learning the code yourself?

Usually a 900x form of a code is a good sign.

The long form of code was created with MakeHex. It worked well for all the other buttons (NEC1 protocol, device 135.78 and command 34)
I can't learn the code because the remote is broken :(

Peter asked the right questions. I'll just confirm that PENG transformed the code correctly. If that 900A form is wrong, I'm pretty sure the original long code is also wrong.

The signal (either form) is the "Resize panel" function for the InFocus projectors in these two CCF files

So it isn't a bad signal. If it is wrong, I guess that means it isn't the signal used by your model of projector.

Edit: I typed the above before seeing your reply

The command is hex 34 (decimal 52). Is that what you intended?

You're right, it's the resize (aspect ratio) button.
Very strange that it's not working. Yes, I meant hex 34, that's the only info Infocus supplies on their site. A guy on AVS Forum tracked down a JP1 update from which the device number and protocol could be read so together with that it was possible to generate the codes.

Paste this in and see if it works.

0000 006D 0022 0004 0157 00AC 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94 0157 0056 0015 0E94

If it does, then you may want to experiment with the 'Duration' setting of the "shortened" IR code.
