The Device Overview is the default start page of | the Pronto. It looks like you cannot change the default start page. I don't like the way they set it up. Do I just change the device overview panel, or can i set another page, such as a home page, to be the first page that comes up when turning on the remote.

alright, the way I thought I might be able to get around this doesn't work. I need to know how to make my pronto turn on and go straight to the Home page. Unfortuately it wants to go to this device overview page, with is great for controlling single devices, but it isn't what I want. I want to turn it on and have options like, watch, listen, record...........etc.

Remember, that only happens when the remote reboots. Which should be only after CCF file updates, replacing batteries, etc.

And I think you can mark devices to not be shown on the device menu. Then, if you just create a device called something like "Start", which just has a button to jump to your "real" Home, and make it so that one _is_ shown on the device menu... then, I think that'll do what you (and I) want it to.

Or you can just press the Home hard button.

Yes, but he's talking about when the system starts up, he doesn't want to see the page that lists all of the devices (I think that's his point).
... or were you just adding that as an alternative to my button on the "Start" page? If so, then yes, you are correct. I just figured that someone would want some sort of prompt on the "Start" page. I guess it could just say "Please press the home button."

You can customize the device overview page. In the system properties there are two templates pages, one for the devices overview and the other for the pages overview. You can delete all the icons and place whatever you want or change the icons for the devices names. I don't know if this affect other things in the configuration... We'll see...
