My friend has an TSU 3000 that was broken, she is considering to upgrade to TSU3500, she want me to help her transfer the file. to be honest that is the only pronto programming I did ( for her a about 2yr ago). So I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to transfer the file from TSU3000 to TSU3500.

Could anyone please help me out?

Thanks and really appreciate it

You need the Philips ProntoEdit NG software (obviously). Get the latest version here: [Link: remotecentral.com].
  1. If she has the configuration file for her TSU3000.

Open the file with ProntoEdit NG. Click File then Save As. Save the file in the TSU3500 format. Download the file to the new remote.

  2. If she does not have the configuration file but her TSU3000 is still able to communicate with a computer.

Open ProntoEdit NG. Upload the configuration from the remote. Click File then Save As. Save the file in the TSU3500 format. Download the file to the new remote.

  3. If she does not have the configuration file and her TSU3000 is not able to communicate with a computer.

Sorry, you'll have to start from scratch.

Also, if it is at all in her budget, I strongly recommend going to a 7000 or 7500 *even* if she already has her file done and doesn't want to do any more work on it (it displays black and white very nicely).
