Hi, still very new to RC9500 but having fun with it, 1 prob i'm having it was programmed for me by retailer but very basic. Used Daniel's download and changed to what i needed but my pioneer plasma now won't change inputs (i have used the same codes from original config which worked) i am using IR but screen just flickers and goes back to what it was on. Any thoughts please.

Try the Poineer factory remote. If you have the same problem, the TV is at fault. If it works, check the 9500 to make sure it's in the IR mode. If you still have a problem, re-learn or re-download the the codes from the files section of this site. Good luck. GP

Or use the codes for a similar US model from Custom Install page at pioneerelectronics.com. Inputs and various functions are usually the same for all other markets/continents. [Link: pioneerelectronics.com] Good luck!

Thanks for suggestions, with the Pioneer site it obviously quotes US models, my plasma is a PDP435HD in Australia, which US model would be the same or closest for Input codes?

Hi, I now have the codes working for the pioneer plasma via I/R, inputs change ok but it now won't change inputs when the various macros for turning on Plasma, DVD etc the input won't change from one to another, the screen flashes but returns to the input it was originally on. What have i done wrong, my very first programme done by retailer and myself works but the new programme i have done based on Daniel's pcf don't work!

Can you cut and paste a copy of you macros here? May be we can tell what's going on from that. I haven't played with a 9500 but I assume the macros list out the same way. Ah, one more question; does your panel have input detection? Maybe the source (DVD maybe) for, let's say, Input 2 has not been on long enough to send out a video signal so the panel switches back to a last known input. Maybe that's the problem. The could be a setting in the panel's menu to turn off input sensing. Maybe!

Click on the button which the macro is pasted in. It will open up a panel, then click on the code for inputs, it brings up the IR option screen. Then copy and paste your code into here.

Do you mean the delay between each link or jump? Why does it work on my original configuration, all i've done is use new buttons and graphics, the codes, links and jumps are exactly the same? Thanking you in advance for your help

No, I mean Duration. It adjusts the length of time the code is transmitted.

I have done that previously but no different. But what is the difference from my original set up to the new one i am using when the only change is the style of the buttons, i have used exactly the same codes, links and jumps but one set up works the other does not.

You said that the codes work when they are on their own but not when grouped.
When a code is all by itself it is transmitted as long as you push the button.
However, when there is more than one action in an action list, each code is transmitted for a specific time, regardless of how long the button is pushed.
You may need to increase the duration if the code is not being transmitted long enough. You may also need to put delays between the codes if they interfere with each other.
