On this site I posted my pictures of how me and
my coworker did our modification of our TSU3000.
Hope you find it useful

Great set of pictures. I have been thinking about doing this for a long time now and when the new software had no affect on battery life (started to reboot 2 days after newly charged batteries inserted) I decided to do it. Your pictures helped a lot. Now I will see how long my batteries last.

You should think about sending a couple of the pictures to Daniel to post in the Files section of remotecentral.

Just got a friend to make the mod for me. Works great. First time I've seen my rechargeable batteries showing full charge (4 bars) on the battery meter.

I'll report in a few weeks on how things go.

chbg,

Nice pictures. Can you tell what kind of connectors you have at each end of the wire?

Actually I haven´t got a clue! I just took som connectors that suited my need for the moment. They were 4way connectors but i cut off the last one so I ended up with the 3way I needed. I think I found it a portable phone, the rechargable batterypack usually has small connectors. That´s the best answer I can give you for the moment. Since I did the mod at work (works att nuclearpowerplant in Sweden) I don´t know the make and model of the phone I used. I just took one that had been discarded out of use.
Sorry för my crappy english and spelling foremost:-)

The batteries lasted till yesterday. It was still working but showing "low" for the last 2 days so I have put in the other set of rechargeable batteries.
