Hello, firstly excuse my english if any mistake. I just want your opinion about the 3000 unit. I want to buy one but i have read several reviews and users dissaprove some characteristics like the delay in response time when you push a button, the poor sensitivity of the screen and other bugs. In fact, in Remotecentral review appeared a lot of problems. I'd like to know if these problems have disappeared in new units and with help of new firmwares.
Please can you help me?

Thanks. Regards.

I have had my TSU3000 for about a year. The best thing about it is the programming flexability. If you like to tinker and cutomize, buy one. It takes a few hours to learn to prorgam, but it is well worth the investment.

I have not experienced delay in response to button press.

The worst thing about the remote is Philips customer service. Loss of lcd touchscreen sensistivity is a common problem. Getting it fixed is not easy. Mine failed, the replacement unit did not work, but by the third unit did work.

Overall I am very happy with my remote.

Thanks for your reply Morellaa, anyway i hope the more recent units have the screen problem solved. In fact i live in Spain and i think is not possible to process an US warranty in Europe.
Anybody knows if the screen problems have been improved in news 3000s?

The 3000 has now been superceded by the 3500.

Yes, it looks to be solutionned in 3500. I'm asking for prices in B&H because oddly there is no price for this article in the web. I posted them a mail but i think it's much more expensive than 3000. I don't know if the difference is justified.
