Hi,

I don't manage to program hard buttons on the right side of the device. With ProntoNGedit, I go to "home properties" page and on the hard buttons location, if I want to program "vol up" for ex. I just create a link to the receiver page with the good action => doesn't works !
Maybe I don't do the good process, any suggestion ?

Thks in advandce.

Make sure, there are no actions assigned to the hard buttons in each device's properties.

There is no action assigned to my hard buttons, except the ones I tried to do by creating link to the adhoc button of receiver page. Actually the question is : How to learn an action (IR code) to the hard button directly, in the "home preperties" page ??

You program them globally on the System page, not the Home page.

You can set properties globally using 'properties' page under te Systems page. However, the properties settings for individual devices override the systems page settings. So if you want to have your settings made globally, set them up on the Systems page and make sure there are no overrides on the device pages. Alternatively set up your hard buttons on each device page.

Overrides include an entry in the action list, specification of a Special Action to execute, OR as some have figured out, any character, even a space, specified for a Firm Key Label will cause the hard button defined on the System Page to not "punch through" to the device.
