OK, curious, how quickly does a 7000 use its full charge with average usage? My 3000 could go for days without a recharge, I am unsure if the 7000 could even make it a full day.

Thanks, well I will see if it lasts a day. Maybe it just drops to 2 bars very quickly.
I even threw the battery from my 3000 into the 7000 and it is acting the same.

On a side note, just finished my 1st adaptation for a 7000 config. (I originally just placed my 300 config on it and made a new color background). Wanting to see as much of the background as possible, I gave a try on a buttonless config. All buttons are transparent with only the text showing. Text is in yellow, and when pressed trurns red. Will see about getting a file to Daniel on this.

If you are doing any config work, the battery only lasts a few hours.

Config work was done on the PC while the 7000 was on the charger and not attached to the pC.

This is something you will have to live with unless you opt for a different battery.

If you have the backlight set @ level 3 or 4, the batteries drain much faster. Set to 1 or 2 and you should see better performance.

If this continues to be a problem, consider replacing the battery with one with a bit more power. http://www.prontowizard.com or http://www.prontobattery.com

Many Thanks Lyndel,

I will see if level 1 or 2 works. Right now I have it maxed out.

Think I will buy the battery.
