I have recently upgraded my firmware and it appears that the pause that used to be experienced between touching the screen and the code being transmitted has now disappeared.

Can anyone confirm whether this is true as I can then make all my keys normal instead of being macros

Cheers

Baz

From version ??? to version ??? ?

About 1,5 years ago, there was a big speed-improvement.

As I am not at my pronto I cannot say exact versions but the previous version I had was downloaded from Philips September 2005 and the version I replaced it with is the one that appeared about a month ago

09.2005 is already a fast one.

But why not be happy with the increased speed? ;-)

I am not unhappy with increased speed, just wanted to make sure that it is now safe to remove the beep from all my keys which I was using to force them to work instantly when touched.
