Hi I everybody I just bought a TSU3000 remote and have been trying to find discrete codes for my setup. I have found discrete codes for everything except my TV and DVD. My TV is a 32" widescreen Philips model number 32PW8707/12, and my DVD is United DVD 3052. I have searched this forum and tested all Philips TV discrete codes I have found both here and on the Philips website, but none of the work. Well actually the power button on my remote is Power Off and not a toggle, selecting a channel works as a power on, but having a dedicated power on button would be great for my macros.
Here is the power off code for the Philips: 6000 0000 0000 0001 0000 000C
Here is the power toggle code for the United DVD: 900A 0068 0000 0001 00FE 58A7
Any help would be great.

The fact that this link has NO entries for Philips would lead me to believe that the codes may not exist. [Link: remotecentral.com]

Try These, for the Philips TV. May work, may not.

No these didn't work. I have already tried all 512 combinations for both the TV and the DVD player but found out that at least with the standard codes there are no discrete codes.
However I have found a workaround discrete power on code for the TV by using the "p->p" button twice, this turns the TV on if it is off and when it is on it switches quickly from previous channel to the current, and so doesn't disturp the current channel. But unfortuneatly the DVD doesn't have discrete codes.
And if you are thinking I input all the 512 codes by hand and clicked "Test IR" button in Pronto Edit, then no I am not THAT nuts :) I used a combination of the kixtart scripting language and winmacro mouse recording program to automate the input and clicking.

That's the way Eurpoean TVs usually work! Discrete Power On is just Channel or Program +.

Try Play for DVD Power On and use Power Toggle for DVD Power Off.
power on: Play
power off: Play Delay Power Toggle

No unfortunately my stupid DVD can only be turned on with the power toggle button, the "Play" button doesn't turn on the DVD, but what is stupid is that physically pressing the Play button on the device itself turns it on. Ah well doesn't matter I will just leave the stupid thing on at all times :)
