Curious, I have searched some and not seen an answer.

Is there a direct way to upload all learned IR codes from my 3000 to 7000? I uploaded my 3000 config to the 7000, but none of the IR codes transfered.

Is there a quick way to do this, or do I need to learn tem all new into the 7000.

Many Thanks
Mark

To convert a 3000 PCF to a 7000, simply go to the File menu and select Import.

Thank you, I was just signing on to note that most codes seemed to have been transfered. Some of the hard buttons were not working (Vol, Channel) which I will de bug, but later when complex macros executed, I realized this was all copied.

Curious, and forgive me for not searching first, but how can you extend the timeout on the hard buttons on the 7000?

On the 3000 you have an LCD timeout, and a backlight timeout. On the 7000, you just have an LCD timout.

I would like a longer timeout on the 7000 for hard buttos. (I must say though I have spent less than 10 minutes though in PPENG). A freebie would be appreciated.

I can say I already appreciate the brighter screen of the 7000 (if even in BW).

LCD timeout is in Settings. Unfortunately, there is no setting for Hard Button Timeout.
