Hello
I'm looking at some burst pair hex values and I'm wondering whether they are significantly different from the viewpoint of the receiving appliance! These are the values I'm comparing:

000D 0048, 000C 0049, 000D 0047 - would they all count as the same?

Likewise these: 0046 000A, 0048 000A, 0045 000A - are these effectively the same?

Cheers

That answer would be safer if we knew the protocol (If you posted one entire Pronto Hex string).

Most protocols never care about a difference as small as 0045 vs. 0048. But we have seen at least one protocol that does care (getting working Pronto Hex for that one is quite hard).

The first set are safe anyway. The total of a pair usually matters more than the individual values. D+48 is the same as C+49 and only one unit different from D+47. No protocol could work if it were that picky.

Thanks, I was hoping I could assume they were the same. It's a shame I can't tell which are closest to the original manufacturer's specification, but I guess it won't matter too much.

Cheers
