Hi. I need to print some Pronto emulator-simulator "pages" for a client. I've tried the Prnt Scrn button, but that isn't doing it. Anybody know any other methodology for accomplishing this?

Search for a folder named "Pronto2GScreenShots" after hitting "Print Screen".

Thanks Jochen...

that works great for the actual page; is there any way that you know of to print the Pronto "picture" with the page, so that the hard buttons would show as well?

After hitting "Print Screen" you also have a complete screenshot of the PC-Monitor in the clipboard.
Paste this to an image-program and remove the non-Pronto parts. ;-)

I believe you use Alt-PrintScreen when running the emulator. Then, open MSPaint.exe and do Ctrl-V for Paste.

What I do is to start notepad or something with a white screen. Maximize, notepad, then put the emulator on top. That way, you get a clean image from which you can remove the white background if necessary.

Removal of the white background is possible in programs such as Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, lview pro, and GIMP.

To do this, you may have to read up a bit to understand how to work with layers and transparency as they differ somewhat for each tool.

There is a free program called "Gadwin Printscreen" which enables you to select just the portion of the screen you want to print. Look for it on the freeware web sites.

Mike - Thanks a million for that tip. I have been doing it the hardway for ever. So much easier when I am re-doing screen shots for the Guide, etc.

Many thx Dave
