Hi all !

I have the software "TV Remote Control 5.5" for my iPAQ 2210 PDA, wich works with .ccf files.

I know that TV repairers use a special remote control to acces some special menus and functions. It seems to be the "Service Mode"

Where could I find the CCF file for the Philips Service Mode.

Please tell us the Model of the TV as well. Service codes can sometimes tend to be different among different models.

Before posting back, try this file (Import CCF...) and see if this works for you.

Thanks for answer.
"Codes for service mode". That's what I was searching for.
I should have found this file by myself, I were in this category in website but I stayed in Page 1, not searched in Page 3. LOL

My TV is a 32PW6005, same as 28PW6005 I think.
I'll try this file and tell you if it works.

This CCF file doesn't work ...
I load it on my PDA in PDAWin, I can see the 3 buttons SDM, SAM, CONV and when I click on a button I can hear some kind of laser sound and after that, I can't click on another button... it is blocked, I need each time to restart PDAWin.

The TV goes to 6th channel when I click on one of the 3 buttons but does not enter in Service Mode.

Please Help Me !

Hi
Use your philips remote and enter 062596 followed by the text i button this will enter the service menu.
Please note ...Take a copy of the settings before changing anything as these set are a pain to set up if the setting are lost . (I should know because I have changed a lot of processors on these sets and the odd time the eprom settings get reset and if you dont have a copy of the settings you can say goodbye to an hour)

Regards
Andy

BTW you have to put the set into stand by to exit service mode

Yeah !!!!!
This is what I were looking for :)

062596 i-TEXT button and I'm in the SAM mode.
I can now change the values of SMART SETTINGS.

Thanks a lot.
So I don't need to use special remote control or Pronto CCF files.

Doesn't look like it. Heed the warnings about writing down the settings before changing.

Many devices these days don't have special IR codes for the service menu... it's usually a button combination. I have a Philips 34" TV from a few years ago and that sequence looks familiar.
