Does anyone have the IR codes for the Lifestyle 28 Series II? I've tried some of postings in the files but they don't seem to work. I've also tried to "learn" the codes, but I'm having alot of trouble, some of the functions do not work. Thanks in advance.

Try one of these. Remember to do File->Import Configuration... to use one of these CCF files in either PENG or PPENG.

Thanks. Some of these codes work, but they do not work like the RF codes. Example: with the RF, when I push a button to go to "system" and then push the "system" button agian it exits the "system". With the IR code it goes into "system", but pushing the same button does not exit "system" like the RF code.

Make sure you have changed the setting in your Lifestyle 28, to IR, instead of the default, which is RF. It is in one of the menus.

hi
I think you are running into the same problem I have been.
I have used the pronto ccf files to operate operate just in the last few days an earlier
lifestyle 28 (ver1) system, no problem, but the latest lifestyles with newer different remote does not respond properly at all.
the only way I got to learn the codes was to use the lifestyles teach mode, and setup the bose supplied ir blaster directly in front of the sensor input of my pronto.
I got all the codes to work, almost, the problem I am trying to solve is getting the volume to scroll smoothly. As of now, it only nudges the setting and you have to keep hitting the ir remote button over and over again to make large changes in volume.

Have you had any luck with this??

This sounds like a "toggle bit" problem in a possible RC5 protocol. Maybe you can post one of the problematic learned codes here such that either myself our John Fine could check it out.

Below are my volume + & -. Both "scroll" nicely. It took me a long time to get the remote to learn these codes. All my other Lifestyle codes work fine.

Boy, those look really long and maybe a bit dirty. Although, it may be the repeating element that makes it look so long. Glad they work, though.

I have some from a Lifestyle 48, see if these work as well.

Dave,
I agree they are long and I was worried they were "dirty", but they work fine.
