First, I have the latest firmware and I have had older firmware versions without
any change of behavior on the below mentioned.

Many of my macros have multiple jumps, sometimes as many as ten page jumps.
The thing I have noticed is that the pronto will run my macro in the order the way it
was created only once.

When it is press again later the pronto will process all the IR commands first
and then it will process all the jumps.

Here is an example of an assembled macro:

Link to TV On
Jump to 10% done (picture graphic)
Link to Receiver On
Jump to 50% done (picture graphic)
Link to Receiver Video 1
Jump to 100% done (picture graphic)
Link to TV Tuner
Jump to TV number pad

Here is an example of an experienced macro ran for the first time on the pronto:

Link to TV On
Jump to 10% done (picture graphic)
Link to Receiver On
Jump to 50% done (picture graphic)
Link to Receiver Video 1
Jump to 100% done (picture graphic)
Link to TV Tuner
Jump to TV number pad

Here is the experience of the same macro ran for the second time on the pronto:

Link to TV On
Link to Receiver On
Link to Receiver Video 1
Link to TV Tuner
Jump to 10% done (picture graphic)
Jump to 50% done (picture graphic)
Jump to 100% done (picture graphic)
Jump to TV number pad

OK, my macros are much larger and really much more sophisticated.
For the sake of conveying my observation I made up the above examples.

The Pronto seems to favor processing all the Commands first before processing
the page jumps. It would be nice if the Pronto would execute my macro exactly
as I have assembled it.

The macro does operate the equipment but the pronto screen does not accurately
report the stage at which it is at when executing the macro. The neatest part about
having the multiple page jumps was hearing the equipment come on and initialize in
sync with what was being displayed on the Pronto touch screen. This is how it worked
when the uploaded PCF file was used for the first time on the Pronto. Now everything
starts up really fast and begins running before the second page jump is displayed on
the Pronto's screen.

Yes, I can upload my PCF file again to the Pronto and it will work the macro in the
correct order of assembly. When macro button is pressed again latter it will again
be commands first, jumps second...

It gets better all the time.

This is definitely a new one for me. Never, have I seen or even heard of such a problem.

Are you using the RF Extender? Do your Jump Target Pages each have a button on them with at least 1 action (Delay 0.1s)? Also, have you tried inserting a Delay 0.1s between each step of your macro?

New to me as well - I know that doesn't happen with my progress screens (and I just checked to verify).

Are you sure it's new, most PCF files
created by other programmers only have
one or maybe two jumps in their macro.
So one may not notice this bug.

The remote is setup for I.R.
No RF extender is being used at this time.

As for the interim "Target" pages, they contain only text, no buttons.

I did have delays in the macros but I found that the
multiple page jumps had a similar pacing influence
on the commands being sent to the equipment.
The equipment responds every time so I have not put
the delays back. I do recall the delays being there while
the Pronto was deciding on a (and doing) new way to execute my macro.
It gets better all the time.
