cause on the back of the touchscreen i can see :

with a big W like a logo

It appears that there are 3 versions of this Wintek display.

Is actually possible to home repair a broken touch screen? My Marantz 5400 screen is smashed but the LCD is working fine. I've replaced the remote with a new 9500 but a spare remote would be great. Marantz locally says it would cost too much to repair but this thread got me thinking.

Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement screen? Installation would be the next question but I figure that can't be too hard.

I sent an email and the ask me to send picture or the front end back of the touch screen to be sure to match the good one.

Hello everyone - I replaced a non functioning PRONTO NG TSU 3500 screen (not the LCD the glass part on top) with a kit I bought from eBay for 29.99. It included the replacement screen glass and all the stuff you need to do the work yourself (except a cheap soldering tool) including a really good manual with a lot of pix. I emailed the seller with a question before I started the repair and he sent me back his cellphone number and his FaceTime info - he walked me through it by video-conf the next day. Way better value than going to that one repair place that is owned by Philips.
