Hi
I have finally gone and ordered my RU950 (TSU3000!)! Because I have a Pace STB DI4000T I have also ordered the Red-eye. The Red-eye has arrived and I am awaiting delivery of the Pronto.
Reading the info for the Red-eye and downloading the CCF from their web site I have come across a discrepancy in the RC6 codes and need advice...
The hex codes listed on the Red-eye website I note they have the following format:
6000 0073 0001 0000 0028 00xx
The downloaded CCF file has this format:
6000 0000 0000 0001 0028 00xx

Is there a reason for this discrepancy? What version of the codes should I use?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Looking forward to building my configuration file already!

Nic

It doesn't matter which.

The second number (0073 vs. 0000) is ignored when the signal is actually transmitted.

The third and fourth number are taken together as a total (which must add to 1) so" 0001 0000" is the same as "0000 0001".

Those facts apply to specific protocols, such as RC6. For other protocols, the second number matters and the third and fourth matter independently.

Thanks for the speedy reply Johnsfine!
Hope you don't mind a noob question - but why doesn't the second number matter?
