i am trying to learn the vid2/tv button for a harman kardon avr 320 receiver. the tsu3000 has no problem learning a code, but the code doesnt work very well. when i push the test button the code never works on the first try, normally it will work between 4 and 15 trys?

this is the code i learned: 0000 006E 0026 0000 0152 00AC 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0699 0152 0055 0015 0E30 0152 0055 0015 00AC

i have tried a bunch of other codes i found on this website all codes the codes seem to have the same problem? here are the other codes, hopefully they'll be helpful:

You may possibly get somewhere by increasing the duration of the IR Code.

You need the new version released a few weeks ago. Double click on the IR Code and press Duration.

I don't think increasing the duration could work on the codes from post1 of this thread. They don't have the correct split between the one-time part and the repeat part of the signal.

This cleaned up version should work by itself with a long enough manual press (assuming it is the only action on the key). Once you verify that, you can look for the duration setting that makes it work even with a short press.

To clean up a code, you decode it the reencode it.

To decode from a Proto Hex string (what you posted) the best tool is the JP1 version of the IrTool program used together with my DecodeIr.dll

To get that IrTool you need to join the old (no longer active, but you can join) Yahoo JP1 forum. The following URL should work after you join and should tell you what to join if you use it before joining:
[Link: groups.yahoo.com]

You can get DecodeIr.dll from
[Link: john.fine.home.comcast.net]

To decode all the IR signals in a CCF file, use my DecodeCCF program:
[Link: john.fine.home.comcast.net]

That program also need DecodeIr.dll to work. You can get my programs without joining anything.

Those Pronto Hex strings you posted all decode to
NEC1:128.112:203
which means protocol NEC1, device 128.112, function 203.

Then I used my MakeHex program
[Link: john.fine.home.comcast.net]
to reencode all functions of NEC1:128.112
then I selected function 203 from the output file that generated.
