I received my new battery from the ProntoWizard, installed and the remote works with the new rechargable battery. However, when I put hte remote in the docking station, the lights come on like it's charging, but at the end of the charging cycle, the battery level is the same as it was before I charged. Help!?!?

Lights usually indicate the base is working and the ac adapter is ok. You may need to get newer firmware as they have been some fixes by Philips regarding battery useage and battery indicator accuracy. Otherwise, look very closely at the connector on the base as well as the pronto and see if anything is odd.

I updated the firmware about two weeks ago. Thought that may be the problem with the original battery. When that didn't solve the problem thought the battery was bad. Turns out maybe the battery wasn't bad, but another problem.

Checked my remote when I got home tonite. There was some sort of corrossion on the contacts. My kids may have spilled something...who knows. Scraped it off the contacts with a pocket knife. Charging like a champ now. Looking forward many hours of use with my new battery.
