Here are a few of links I found today while perusing the web. Some of these things could be used for "softer" NG interface designs.
Please keep in mind that these are .ICO, not .BMP or .PNG. You will need to find an image editing tool that can open these files as the .ICO format has a transparency layer, but this layer is NOT like the .PNG transparency layer. However, if you find a tool and convert to .BMP, you will most likely be able to use the Top-Left Corner transparency.
