Hi everybody. This is a great site by the way. Well, here my question. I'm try to make my buttons to have animation like on Andre` du Fresne's Retro gold but when i try to make a button jump to a animation page and then try to jump back to the page on which the button is learned you are not allowed to do because I'm still in that page? How did Andre`du Fresne do that in his DVD_menu_neutral page?

You have to make the button with the jumps on a different page than the ones you want any jumps to go to, then drag it over to the page you relly want to start from and return to. I usually make a blank page that I delete later.

FYI, I suspect this "feature" is due to the software now counting the number of references to a Panel and warning the user about deleting a device that has more than one reference. Take it from me, this is very annoying when trying to delete a device, getting the warning, then not being able to see the references to make an intelligent decision as to whether you can delete the Device/Page/Button. All these items are reference counted and the user gets a warning.

I have submitted a feature request to provide a references list for Buttons/Panels/Devices to assist with this issue.

This would be a great feature. Elan does something similar with its VIA touchpanel software. When it encounters a reference that to something that doesn't exist it warns you and opens up a notepad document with details. And asks if you want the references deleted. If it finds invalid IR codes (usually because of coruption) it again warns you and asks if you want all the bad codes marked so you can fix them later.

Too many toys, too little time.
