I have got some trouble editing the system home page. As i understand from the FAQ page you should be able in advance mode to select system properties or system page then properties and select setting tab at the top,(which i don't have), then select from check box's which icons/objects I want i.e date or power icon.
I'm in advance mode as i have checked in the file menu. what am i donign wrong

from the top, if you expand system you will be able to see system page. double click on it to open it, then you will see the make up of the page. what ever you click on will highlight and then you can either double click on it to edit or just delete it. is this any help?

Many of the items on the system page have "No Properties". If you click on different items you will see the ones that have properties.
To delete an item, select it, then press the delete key.
To add an item, use the Insert menu, select System Item then whichever item you want to add.

What if what you want to add isn't in the System Item options? I'm trying to simply add the remote control with the green IR signal that I've seen on other PCF files, but I can't seem to copy/paste this and you merge a PCF, only the HOME page merges.

You have to open the PCF you want to keep the System area from FIRST, and then merge the other PCF.
