anyone had the vol hard buttons not emitting any code? all of the others work but the vol up has decided not to emit the code any more, it has the soft click but nothing else.
could it be a fault in the pronto?

Iain,
Are your hard buttons linked to your IR codes. Have you tried re-learning the code or linking another code, say the vol down to that button just to see if it work.
