Are you talking about the actual PENG program or a PCF file made from the program?

If you mean the PENG program try downloading if from here....

Thanks for the reply. It turned out to be not enough free dick space on my terminal at the office. We got our first TSU3000 today and it came with the software on a cdrom.

It loaded with out incident on my laptop which is where I need it anyway.

Steve, what version of Pe Ng came with the remote?

Because the version that is on the website is PENG V1.0

I would like to know this because it might give us a clue if any bugs were fixed or not.

Can't say I am impressed so far. I am trying to figure out an easy way to import my PE 4.5 galleries withoout having to do it one button at a time. I'll keep you posted.

I had the same problem while installing PENGV1.0 from both the CDrom and the Download from Remote central. Half way through the install, an ERROR message appeared. I re booted my laptop, and tried it again. This time a message appeared and asked if I would like to repair the existing file, I clicked yes, and everything is good so far...lets keep the fingers crossed. Does anyone know how to get rid of the TOOLS hard button?

As discussed in other threads on this forum, the TOOLS hard button and also the one on the right cannot be changed as of right now. Hopefully in the next software realese they will have this corrected.

On the installation process, if you were installing on XP it is a known bug about an error in the installation, but if you click continue if installs fine.

Steve,

To import a gallery. Make sure all the panels for the gallery are in the "system" of prontoedit 4.05 Save it.

Open ProntoEditNG(PENG). Click on import and click on the ccf for that gallery. Go through the process. Then save it and close that pcf. Now click on "select gallery. Which should be there, not too sure at this time. Because I do not have PENG install at this time. However I will install it right now and come back to give an answer on that.

OK I just had the weirdest thing happen to me. I installed PENG, and it asked me if I wanted to restart my pcs now, or if I will do it later. I clicked on restart now, or yes which ever.

Then it restarted, but not all the way. It went directly to PENG, and not my system things. I even had my restart screen up when PENG started. Didn't think much about it. So I just contined with importing. And I noticed that there are two imports, and one export.

You can import a gallery directly. But it didn't work for me. And then you can import a ccf, like I've stated above.

Now I am not sure why the import for the gallery didn't work. However, I clicked on minimize PENG. And it went down to the lower left corner of my screen. I then brought my mouse down to the buttom to make the task bar come up. But it never did. That is when I noticed the only thing that was on my desktop. Was the window which stated "start now, or later" Same one from before. And nothing else but PENG at the lower corner. In which case is not supposed to be there, it's supposed to be in the task bar. I didn't even have My Computer, Rcycel bin and other things that I have on the desk top. So I then clicked on "no" and it finshed starting. I then maxed PENG and everything was different. I tried the import gallery thing again, but still didn't work.

However, not sure if I would restart again and stuff. But I just thought it was weird.
