how do you cut and paste ir hex codes. Every time i try to paste the code, it appears for a second then goes away. I don't know if this is the correct way for the TSU-3000.

Thank in advance

I haven't tried it on the unit itself, but it works as you'd expect in PENG. I just went through a few hundred cuts and pastes to finally build a definitive set of ugly button pages to hold all my codes for link aliases. Everything pasted over fine.

I still don't understand. Can I go to the discrete hex code(1000,2000,6000)and cut and paste? Also Can I have two PENG going at once?

Yes you can use the hex code from the other Prontos, Peng will convert it to the 3000 format automatically.

You can have as many PENGs going at once as your memory will allow. You can then copy and paste or drag and drop from each.

The following is copied from one of my responses to someone elese....
First you must have the "discrete" codes for your inputs. Once you have that discrete it is just a matter of copy and pasting it into you PCF. Remote Central has hundreds of discretes in the regular Pronto section files and most should work with the 3000.

To add a discrete.....
Make sure you are in advanced mode
Double click on your button
From the button properties choose the actions tab
Click on the Add IR Button
Click on the View/Edit IR button
Paste your code into the box that pops up
Click on OK
That's it.

Tips..If it is a discrete code that you got from Remote Centrals file section, then PENG will change the code automaticaly because it uses a different format.

I had trouble getting the codes I copied to paste into the window, but if when I highlighted the code I started at the rear of the code and highlighted to the front of the code it worked the first time almost always.

Make sure when you highlight that you don't put and extra space at the rear of the code.

If a code is "dirty" PENG will not accept it.

Hope this helps..

Thanks Archer!
That worked. One more thing, why can't I name the custom code. Everytime I do it doesn't respond

Thanks in advance

Re code names: it's a bug.
