The Pronto special characters are not displayed correctly in ProntoEdit (NG) when the default system locale on Windows 2000 Pro (Windows XP Pro) is set to a non Latin-1 characterset (for example Japanese).
Tonto is able to handle the characters correctly, so it is a programming issue.
