I just want a remote which will allow me to control my HDVR2 TiVo/Sat receiver from another room.
With the RF accessory, will this remote work for that? I have heard that some remotes don't work well with the HDVR2.

The TSU 3000 works with the HDVR2, I have both. I have not tried it with the rf extender though, just direct IR.
The TSU2000 also works wih the HDVR2, so I don't think Philip's IR implimentation has a problem with it.
