Hi, I'm programming the TSU7000 for use in a car audio project. The remote is able to learn all remotes other than the Sony RM-X131 for the Sony MEX-5DI receiver. I've tried using the MakeHex program and device 132 (based on the sony information at [Link: hifi-remote.com]), and cppying a few IR codes into the Pronto software, but no luck.

In searching around, it seems that the Sony uses HiBand IR - is this normal IR or could this be a source of my problems?

Is there any program that can detect the IR codes generated by a remote?

Thanks,

Yes, all the documentation says it is "HiBand IR" and I get an error message (1012) on the learn screen - so something must be registering on the Pronto.

Is there any tool that anyone is aware of that will "read" IR codes. I contacted Sony and they won't release any information.

Thanks,

GRod
