I am tring to use discrete codes to program a remote. I have not been able to either copy/paste or learn the codes for a Pronto Pro that I have. When I try to copy/paste, the codes do not work. When I try to learn the codes form the Pronto Pro, the 3000 say the learning failed. I have tried every trick that has worked before learning codes, but none worked. I need the on and off codes for a Sony DVD and VCR, and the on, off, and inputs for a Panasonic Plasma tv. If anyone has the codes, could you let me know?

I also had problems cutting & pasting discretes. I've discovered that if you cut & paste everything except the last 4 characters of the discrete code, the paste works.
Then you just manually enter the last 4 characters. When you close the IR screen, the last 4 characters will be converted so the code works properly.
The other option (which I used before I fiscovered the first methodology) is to cut & paste the codes to Pronto Edit 4 and save the ccf. Then open that ccf with Pronto Edit NG. The codes will be converted to the pcf version. You can then cut & paste them to your other pcf.

All right I feel stupid now. When I tried to cut and paste the discrete codes, I was at our store when I tried out the codes. At the customer's house we are using the RF box, and at the store I was not. Count that one up for experience. Thanks for the reply.
