Help! I just got my TSU3000 today and have been programming my heart out and all of the sudden PENG no longer sees the remote! I've re-booted, re-connected, and re-installed PENG and it still no longer sees the remote. I'm running XP and had no problems connecting and learning IR for hours and now - NOTHING! Any time I try to test IR, Learn IR, or Download to the remote it says "remote not connected to computer!" Windows gives me the beep to let me know it sees it when I connect the USB cable, but PENG won't connect. Anyone else had this problem? I'd appreciate any help!

Even though your remote is only a day old, try new batteries. This has been the source of some connection problems.

I have had this problem a few times also. Try reloading the firmware into the pronto. It worked for me.

Thanks Archer, new batteries fixed it. The Power meter was only 2 bars down, so apparently full juice is key for remote communication.

I just want to take a second to say thanks to people who run this site and all of those who take time to help other users. I've had a Pronto Neo for awhile and now the TSU3000 and I can't tell you how much of a help you've all been. Thanks and keep up the grat work!

I programmed a remote and after a few days the remote would restart after you hit any button. Remote would come back on and then restart again. Moved batteries, restarted, re-downloaded file, ran firmware, nothing. The only thing that worked was a battery replacement.

I decided to throw those philips batteries out and just use duracells or something like that.
