I know I saw the answer to this before but can't find it now. What is the typical delay a component needs between IR Codes?
Especially a TV when it is first turned on? Like turn on the tv and change input setting? Thanks.

Not sure about how much you need, but on my Sony TV, the macro powers on the TV, then the reciever, then sets the TV's input, and no delays are needed thanks to the speed of the remote. i also found that the speed caused any delay i set to seem to last longer than it really is.

Depends on the TV...some won't need any and others may require several seconds. It's kinda trial and error. Use your regular remote and see how long after you turn on your tv that you can change the inputs. Now try that amount of time as delay time in Peng, if it works take some delay time off of it or if it doesn't work add more delay to it and check again.

I came across a Sony plasma 42XBR900 which has 5 video inputs. In my macro I didn't need any delay for it to switch. But, for the memory stick input it needed about 2 seconds.
