Looks like Philips has been putting all there programing efforts into the iPronto Firmware update and its soon to come software update.

Wonder how far dwon the list the 3000 is on there priorities?

I can assure you the iPronto needed it far more than the TSU3000. :-)

Wasn't the rechargable cradle supposed to be out by now, too? I've had one on order forever.

....and what about the firmware update promised for early to mid March? Continually being left in the dark leads to frustration and lots of conjecture. Too bad Philips can't at least communicate with all of the users who have been doing so much "beta" testing of the 3000.

Its funny, I've been following a PC game and its development for the last year because the development team has wanted our input on the game features.

Now that the game is almost out they post info or comments every day to let us know about things and to help us out.

My question is why doesn't Philips keep us up to date with the happenings with there products?

They rarely have before... I know they're looking at all the major issues, but can't provide any timeline.

I was at a training last week. They are addressing a lot of the issues that are mentioned here..and they hope to have some solutions in a few weeks.

My question to Philips ...

We are eagerly awaiting the next release of the TSU3000 firmware ... in hopes it will correct some of the problems reported at www.remotecentral.com. Any best guess as to when we can expect an update?

Their response ...

We are working hard to solve both issues on the device as on ProntoEdit NG.

You may expect a new firmware update within some weeks and a new editor in May where a lot of the known problems will be solved (like speed, stability, flexibility and easy of use).

Keep an eye on www.remotecentral.com where we may issue a betaversion of the editor earlier.
