When i use Adobe Imageready to edit bitmaps (ive changed the size, cropped edges for transparency, etc.) they look fine when I use them in PENG but once I go to the emulator or use the .pcf on the remote they look corrupt. Anyone know if any of the adobe image editing programs make changes to bmp files that prevent them from working properly with the 3000? Can anyone recommend another paint program that will allow me to resize buttons? Thanks.

Have you assigned an action to the button yet. Without an action the bitmap will be covered with dots. Just add a delay, IR, or jump from the actions tab to get rid of the dots.

You can use photoshop, but you need to edit the images in .PSD (photoshop format), change the size and then save as .BMP. This way your bitmap will look OK.

If you have a bitmap you want to edit, copy this image in a new Photoshop document, make the edits and then save as .bmp.

The problem occurs when you edit in the bitmap format (at least with adobe Photoshop and Image Ready).
