First, I’d like to thank Remote Central and all the members of this very useful forum.

Now for my problem, I bought a TSU3000 over the weekend, downloaded and installed the current PENG and Firmware. I had it completely programmed (save the tweaks everyone does based on using it) by Sunday. After one of my last downloads it appears that my PCF became corrupt. I have not used any Group functions so I do not believe the corruption is tied to the bug I’ve read about in this forum.

All the buttons for IR Codes and Links do not work anymore. The odd thing is that the Actions are labeled correctly, but when you dblclk on one to view the actual IR Code or Link it is pointing to a totally different function. For example: The button for digit-1 is actually executing the IR Code for PIP. The other odd thing is that the button doesn’t even execute the (wrong) IR Code.

I’ve tried to reprogram individual keys, but when I return to view the code it is corrupted again. I’ve also tried to re-download the PCF several times and a reset.

One final note, other PCFs do work on the remote.

Any thoughts?

I ran into the same problem...I would upload a PCF, try it out, make changes to it, save it as a different name and then upload the newer one to the Pronto and it would hang trying to load, even after taking the batteries out...I even went as far as doing a diff (for those that don't know, a diff shows differences between two files) on both the XML files in the PCF's and found only the changes I made...

How did I fix it, you may ask? I just reloaded the Firmware (I also choose to overwrite the current config) and then re-uploaded the my newest PCF with the changes I made....The only reason I think of why this happens is the PCF gets corrupted during the upload to the Pronto and luckliy the Firmware tool can still connect to it to bring it back to factory...

Read my post above...I didn't have to redo my PCF's when I had this problem...try reloading the firmware and then uploading your PCF...
