Does anybody know if a tsu3000 bought in the US will work in the UK?
Will there be a problem with the RF operating frequencies?

Cooch,

No info found on compatability. Can you either link to the thread or provide the specific info as to why the unit won't work. Agreed the RF stuff might be on different frequencies but the IR shuff should be fine, and some of the codesetsd should match too like they did with a US OFA6 I bought a few years back.

Thanks,
Tony.

Tony you are correct ir should not be a problem:
RF is different
US = 418MHz
UK = 433.92MHz

If both remote and RF unit are US, do you think there will be a problem using them in UK?

possibly not, but I would guess if Philips could use the same frequency they would have, RF frequency is regulated. So if Philips had to use 418MHz in the US and 433.92MHz in the UK it is because those frequencies are restricted for other uses in the other country. But assuming no RF interference then it should work.
