It keeps changing the last digit in the discrete code for Video 4 from 03F4 for 03F5 which causes it not to work. Any suggestions? All the other discrete codes seem to work.

If the code you are copying is from the Regular Pronto section (CCF) then yes PENG will change the code. The code is converted from the way a CCF reads it to the way a PCF reads it.

This is the code for Video 4 on a Sony TV the way that PENG saves it...
0000 0067 0000 000D 0060 0019 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0019 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0019 0018 0018 0018 03F5
This is the same code from a CCF
0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0019 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0019 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0019 0018 0018 0018 03f4

Ok so does anyone have a code for PCF? Because 03F5 does not work. It wont change the TV to video4.

Also, how come the other Video codes work and PENG only changes the video 4 code? Thanks.

I may be wrong but if you look closely at your other inputs that PENG converted from CCF discretes you will see they also changed somewhere, it may not the last 4 digits but some of the digits were changed.

Why your video 4 does not work, I can't answer. What brand and kind of device is it? If you want to post your codes before and after conversion, I will convert and see if I get the same conversion.

Many Sony TVs simply do not support the Video 4 code. Use a macro of Video 3 + Input.

It's a sony wega TV. About 3 years old at most. That may be why it isn't working. Which codes are you wanting me to post? All the video codes or just video 4?

If all else fails I will just use the video 3 + input.

Here's what I came across when trying to setup my 3000 for a Yamaha DVD S-530. When I learned play, pause, & chapter forward buttons to the TSU-3000 the learned codes worked just fine. However when I learned those very same codes to PENG through the TSU-3000, PENG changed the last digit only of the codes, the codes would not work, and although I could go back into the codes and enter the previously learned last digit, as soon as I exited, PENG would change the codes back to the ones that wouldn't work. What's that about?
