Okay, I admit I'm a rookie. I found the page with all the nifty discrete Codes but I'm not sure how to add them to my buttons.

I can add the IR Code but when I click on view/Edit IR it wont let me paste in the discrete code that I copy from the list. Thanks.

Chech this link...

You have to be in advanced mode.

Make sure that you are not copying any trailing spaces from the end of the code...

Try highlighting the code from the end to the front and then copy and paste.

Copy the code into word or notepad and then recopy and paste into PENG.

Can you not name the IR? When I put in the code it changes the name to the code.

No you can not give a learned IR code a name. I use the Label tab to give my button a name for the IR code that is learned (or copied).

In Philips' eagerness to simplify the original ProntoEdit, many of ProntoEdit's "not quite important" features are missing from ProntoEdit NG, including IR code labels and inactive icons.
