I had my perfect pcf done when I went to make one little change. I downloaded the new pcf that had the updated change and everything messed up. the remote spits out random ir codes for all of the buttons and the pcf on the computer will no longer open. Won't even recover the pcf at startup just causes a program error and causes it too shut down. Anyone else have this problem. Wondering if maybe my remote batteries had gotten too low.

Yes, I've had this problem and it has to do with groups in your PCF. Unfortunately, the only way to recover is to start all your work over again.

Remember to save a copy of your file often and everytime you group buttons together with the group command to ungroup them after you have manipulated the group with the ungroup command. Also, get the latest version of PENG from the board here, it supposedly has this problem fixed.

I too had a problem with groups as well which is even reproducible with the emulator. basically if you dont ungroup before downloading to your 3000 it will not display the graphics correctly ..looks like a real mess. but I simply ungrouped items and reinstalled and all was well.
