I've noticed that on my TiVo FF and Rew buttons, when I try to go to triple FF/Rew, if I press too fast, Pronto just ignores every other press, which means I have to press 6 times to get triple FF. Has anyone else experienced this that the Pronto can't turnaround a sequence of commands very quickly? I'm using the latest firmwire.

I have noticed that I must enter channel numbers slowly. If I go too fast, the remote doesn't sent all of the numbers. If I use the TIVO remote, I can enter the channel numbers as fast as I wish. I think the Pronto is just too slow.

I have the same problems. The IR is just too slow. I am banking on a firmware fix as I'm not sure I can live with this forever. What is encouraging as the TSU1000 had the same type problems in the begining and Philips fixed them with a firmware upgrade.

I've even noticed this with macros. I have shortcuts to tune to certain channels and it is at least a half second between each number being sent without any delay.

This is my biggest complaint about the 3000... using it with TiVo. I've gone back to the 2000. Hope Phillips fixes it. The other thing that really annoys me is that some of the hard buttons need to be pressed twice - once to "turn on" the remote, then again to send the IR. That's just stupid.

Ditto -- I've seen this behavior too. You'd think given the amount of time since the 1000 (which is the other Pronto I have) this new one would be tons faster.

For what it's worth, it seems to be less true of onscreen buttons, though even those aren't lightning-fast.

I'm glad to see that others are experiencing the buttons being slow. I thought that it was my macros, they are very hit and miss right now.
