How can I save a bitmap when viewing a PCF in a particular page of a device? In TSU2000 I used to be able to right click on a bitmap and save it so I can use it on other pages. Now, with PENG, the only options I have is to "Select Bitmap", "Import Bitmap" or "Remove Bitmap" under the appearance tab. How can I save the selected bitmap? Sorry if this was asked before, I did a search on the subject but did not see this topic.
Thanks, Bill

You can't. Silly, eh? As a workaround, take a copy of your PCF file and rename the extension to .ZIP. Then, double-click on the file. You'll see a "bitmaps" directory and (somewhere) in there will be the original bitmap.

Or, involving probably the same amount of work, do a screen capture of the bitmap (press PRINT SCREEN on your keyboard) then paste into a bitmap editing program, then crop it out from everything else.

Hey Daniel, I've done the convert to zip and got the bitmaps. I am tying to change the title on one and when I save it looks right but when I select it with PENG it reverts to the old title. I am using Paint shop Pro. Any suggestions.

There is a post on this forum that deals with that. Don't have time now to look for it. It deals with you having to change the size of the bitmap by 1 pixel and saving it, then you can change the size back and then Peng will recongnize the changed bitmap.
Jack of all trades..

Thanks to Daniel & Archer for their replies and solutions. I was able to save bitmaps using these "work-arounds". Hopefully the next version of PENG will include a "save bitmap" feature. Hope Philips is monitoring this awesome website.
