So does anybody else find the 3000 to be slow? My macros take 3 times longer to execute than on the 2000 and navigating from one page to the next seems really slow. Anybody else experiencing this?
Thanks!

Have you loaded the latest firmware? That seems to speed things up considerably.

Wow, if 2.0.38.1 speeds things up, I would hate to see what it was like before that. Mine came with this firmware loaded on it.

I shortened all of the delays in my macro tremendously. That made enough of a difference that it is ok with me. What I cannot stand about this remote is the length of time it takes to upload and download files. If I am developing a file at someone's house and I need to learn a code or alter the timings in macros, I may have to upload and download a few times. This could add an easy hour to my time at people's homes! Even saving a file takes much too long.

an hour to upload or download a few times?
What kind of pc are you using? My Vaio 1.4ghz P4 does an upload or download in 1 or 2 minutes max.
One of the reasons I went for this remote is the USB connection, which is quite fast.

I think it takes at least 5 minutes to upload or download a file for me. I have never actually timed it, but I will next time. I just know that I have left the room for some time, returned and it had not even started the actual download. There are many times where I missed a button, a macro is mistimed, etc...where you need to make alterations. This could definitely add an hour. The last pcf I did was easier to do a person's file through a Pronto 2000, get all the bugs out, and then import it to PCF and make it happen there.
I have a new Dell laptop which has a 1.20 GHz P4.

Yes, same for me. Its does take a long time to upload and download into the TSU3000. As well as saving files.

I was told today that the problems in this thread are being worked on and it is a relatively high priority. Expect a fix within the month.
