Any have a work around for performing a macro via RF to the RX-6000 extender and also include an IR command in the same macro. My rack is in another room, but the RPTV is not near the rack and I'm trying to use IR to switch it on/off.

Easy enough just put the individual commands on buttons in different devices and run a macro that links to those commands from another device.
I.E. RF Device -RF Command IR Device -IR Command Macro Link -RF Command Link -IR Command

like cooch said, it is where you have the actual IR code that counts, so put the IR codes in device(s) that are IR and the RF codes in device(s) that are RF and then just link them together in a macro
