I am a Pronto dealer and have had some problems converting our old .ccf files to .pcf files. After converting a very simple .ccf to .pcf, I ran into overlapping panels. The home page consists of multiple buttons with different manufacturer's names on them. When you hit a button, you are then sent to a screen with all of the discrete codes that we have collected for that manufacturer. On the 3000, the home page looks fine, but when you hit a button to go to the discrete code screen, only some of the buttons on that screen appear. You can also still see the home page in the background. If you use the navigation buttons to go to another screen, you only get part of that screen with the other two screens showing up in the background. Has anyone experienced this problem with overlapping screens? I tried Phillips support, but they haven't experienced this problem before and don't know the cause. Please help me!!

Would you want to send me your CCF file to see if I can reproduce the same thing on my conversion from CCF to PCF? Archer [email protected]

Would that be a problem of the animation-transition feature? I would turn that off.

iPodBoy, I made sure the annimation feature was shut off. That didn't help either. :( Any other suggestions?

I just tried to convert a ccf I did for a client and when I tried to download it the 3000 would reboot and then display "ERROR INVALID FILE`CONVERSION". I can't seem to figure out what it doesn't like.
Any help would`be appreciated
Steve

THank you!!!! At least(and sorry) someone else has had the problem I was having(see post Farewell TSU3000) with graphics carrying over to next pages and the device saying the previous device. The only way around it is to use the direct device menu or the direct page number but you can't scroll or this will happen. Philips has no idea what the problem is. They said update firmware, I did, nothing! They said try and reset but I said it shows up the same on the simulator, they said "forget it". Their answer....call us in a week and we'll see what we can come up with. I said bye bye 3000. Sorry you have the same problem! David

After responding to your post I thought I would go and see if what Archer said, about the dimensions on the button being less then zero, was the problem. I still have my software on my puter with my PCF (formerly ccf). No buttons were less then Zero. Oh well. I'd like to know when you called Philips and they told you they never came across that before because I called them last Sat. Hmmm. David

It is not the dimensions of the button, it is the location of the button on the screen. It seems that in a conversion some buttons or panels may end up with a negative number in the postion, this will cause the panels not to display right and cause a dual image from the previous panel and and the one that is tring to load.I suppose it could also happen the other way with a position of greater than 240.
luvmyman34... If you want to send me your PCF I will look it over and see if I can find the problem on it.
