Is anyone else having battery life problems? I have had mine 3 weeks and I am just putting in set 3! I would go a few months on my 1000 without changing the battery.

I won't be able to tell on battery life until I settle down and quit doing 5 to 10 downloads every day and change my backlight from 30 to 20 seconds. I'm sure the downloads eat away at the batteries. With my 2000 I would get about two months before battery changes, I doubt if the 3000 will go that long because of the the triple A batteries versus the double A in the 2000.

Mine's not that extreme. I've had mine for about three weeks as well and after many uploads/downloads, ir learning, and having the backlight set to 20 secs, I still have 3 bars on the battery showing. And this is using the included batteries. Would assume it'll get better now that I'm not debugging the device. But your case sounds incredibly extreme.

My battery life is similar. I also am on set 3 in 3 weeks! But I agree with Archer that I won't know the true battery life until I get the thing set up like I need it. I find myself switching between devices many times as well as within the device. Eventually, I will understand how I need to have it streamlined so that 80% of the functions for an activity are on the same page.
Now when can I get the charger/stand? Not soon enough!
Cheers, Blog

I have gone through 3 sets in a month also. I hope the charger really comes at the end of March. There was about 5 days when I was not u/l and d/l like crazy and the batteries seemed to do okay. I am still refining my pages almost everyday. Having the software helps alot! Cuts down on remote use, testing, and saves batteries. Robert
