Have you seen this solution to the MCE problem and has anyone tried it.
[Link: remotecentral.com]

I know it doesn't solve toggle bits for other similar codes

I did see that solution posted and I expect that will be the solution of choice for most users. It certainly is better than most of the convoluted solutions I've proposed.

If a working 7000-format solution exists, I think that would be a little better, since it would avoid any fast keying problems that could be introduced by disabling the MCE's toggle requirement.

I'm also curious to see how a 7000-format solution can be done. I understand the Streamzap version. This one is harder.

Here is an MCE command in 0000 format

0000 0073 0000 0022 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 09E0

Here is the other toggle state of the same command

0000 0073 0000 0022 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 09E0

Here is a different command

0000 0073 0000 0021 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 09D0

Only the red part changes between toggles of the same command.
Only the green part changes between different commands.

The most closest subformat from 7000-format codes is rc6m0. The timings are:
dIDbCh[i]aBurstSeq
01: "H" [0] {0060 -0020}
01: "T" [1] {0020 -0020}
01: "t" [2] {-0020 0020}
01: "0" [3] {-0010 0010}
01: "1" [4] {0010 -0010}
01: "R" [5] {-0BC0}

Decomposing code into "burst sequences" for this format:
0000 0073 0000 0022 0060 -0020 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 -0010 0010 -0020 0020 0010 -0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 0010 -0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 -0010 0010 0010 -0010 -09D0

The string code (with string code for toggle):
|H1110t 10000000 00001111 10000100 00000001 R
|H1110t 10000000 00001111 00000100 00000001 R
and for different command -
|H1110t 10000000 00001111 00000100 10100000 R

This code complies with template "|H1110{tT}1[01]%31R" - RC6 mode 6A 32bit from PE and Marcel Majoor's "Communicating with the Pronto"!

There is only toggle bit, and from template "|H1000{tT}[01]%16R" it must be encoded as 0016 or 001F, depending on what of those signals must be odd or even :)

So, the code for this signal will be:
0010 0000 0004 0004 0004 0003 0002 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0004 0004 0004 0016 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0005

and the whole code, packed into 7000-form is
7000 0000 0000 0015 0001 0028 0010 0000 0004 0004 0004 0003 0002 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0004 0004 0004 0016 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0005
or
7000 0000 0000 0015 0001 0028 0010 0000 0004 0004 0004 0003 0002 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0004 0004 0004 001F 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0005

Different command:
7000 0000 0000 0015 0001 0028 0010 0000 0004 0004 0004 0003 0002 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0004 0004 0004 0016 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0003 0003 0004 0003 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0005
or
7000 0000 0000 0015 0001 0028 0010 0000 0004 0004 0004 0003 0002 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0004 0004 0004 001F 0003 0003 0003 0003 0004 0003 0003 0004 0003 0004 0003 0003 0003 0003 0003 0005

One of alternative codes may work from second press, or both forms will work equally. And all of this will never work on NG :)

Can we get someone to test that?

I prefer a test to another learning remote, rather than a test to a real MCE, so we need someone who has an older (not NG) Pronto and also has a second (PC connectable) learning remote (a JP1 remote, another Pronto, even an NG Pronto). I don't have any Pronto, so I can't test.

Put one of those 7000 codes on a button (on a non NG Pronto) and learn it to two different buttons on the other remote. Upload to a PC and post the results. If it works, the results should be both versions of the original 0000 code from which Eigeny translated.
