Hi,

I'll apologise in advance for these questions as I sure they've already been answered, but I can't find them.

1.How do you change the pictures on the 4 hard buttons at the bottom of the screen?
2.Will we be able to move the system items (battery, time etc.) anywhere on the screen in future software releases?
3.Are any software\firmware release due out anytime soon, and if so what are they supposed to fix\do?
4.On the device properties page there is an actions tab, whats this used for?
5.Does anyone know what the images on the four buttons around the cursor mean?, has anyone thought about the possibility of physically changing these buttons for blank ones?

Again sorry if these are questions already answered.

Mark

1. You can't change the default icon (picture) for the buttons at the bottom of the screen. You can overlay a new button on top of them, but then you have no visual reference that the hard button was pushed.
2. People have talked about it, but I have heard nothing about this in any new firmware release.
3. There is suppose to be a firmware release out this month that takes care of the 4th hard button below the screen and being able to program it.
4. This is the heart of the programing, it is where you learn your IR codes, make a link to another page, make jumps to another page, make macros. It would be best to download someones PCF and look at how they are doing things.
5. I've though about it but then decided it wasn't worth it. If you are going to be having people that aren't familar with what the buttons are then make a help page in your PCF.
The default action for the 4 buttons (you can change them to whatever you want).Page 4 and 33 of manual.
