Considering purchase of a Pronto. Wondering whether to buy a 2000 or wait for a 3000? Am somewhat price conscious, and am guessing that the street prices for 3000's will be higher than 2000's. Setup isn't all that complicated: JVC TV, DVD, VCR, Amplifier, and a Pioneer Cable TV box. Am guessing that the 2000 will work just fine. Also concerned about product stability and maturity -- don't want to be too close to the bleeding edge. Other points of view? Barry

MSRP the same, but street price will be higher. When something's brand new, in limited supply and in demand, there's no reason to heavily discount it.
The 2000 is pretty well "matured" right now (it's not perfect, but it's probably as good as they're going to get it!)
