Is there a way to have a button, hard or soft, repeat the IR code when held down? eg. Volume Up

The volumne is a type of repeating code, if it was learned right it should automatically repeat on vol up and down holds. It it does not then try relearning the IR code.

If trying to repeat something else such as you have to hold a button in for 2 seconds to power on, then do a search on the regular Pronto forum and their are several Q/A that deal with this.

Yes, I was referring to the volume up/down for my Yamaha DSP-A1. I will retry to learn this code. With order tech learning remote I have had, you had to hold down a repeating type button in order to have the new remote properly learn the code. Maybe this is what I didn't/needed to do.

Thanks for the quick response!

Hmmm,

Strange. I relearned the volume code from the DSP-A1 using the Pronto only (not through PENG). Tried it again and it wouldn't repeat. Uploaded the code to PENG to look at it. Did nothing else but downloaded it back to the Pronto and now it repeats.

Strange but it works now so on to the next want!! :)
