Why can't I get my computer to recognize my new 3000? I have read through all the threads and can't find out why it won't work. Is anyone else having troubles with Win 98 se? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I am running Windoze 98SE and (so far) have had no problems.
I don't know what kind of computer you have but some motherboards have kind of a "built-in" hub, and a main USB port. I would suggest that you unplug all your USB stuff, and try all the ports one by one with PENG.
Then if that does not work, UNINSTALL ALL the USB stuff (scanners, printers, etc.) and then try PENG.

There are several post on this forum about USB problems with PENG. Do a search and maybe you will get an answer from one of the previous post. From what I gathered most people that had problems checked on another computer to verify that the remote worked. Tried a different operating system. Installed a USB card in one of their PCI slots. Updated the bios in their computers.
